ABBOTSFORD - Country Life in BC and the BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC) were recognized for their long service to agriculture during the annual BC Ag Gala in Abbotsford, January 28.

The BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC) is a non-profit organization committed to its mission of bringing BC’s agriculture to students and teachers across the province. The programs developed by BCAITC include the BC School Fruit and Vegetable Nutritional Program, Take a Bite of BC and Spuds in Tubs. BCAITC also offers a variety of resources that enable students to make informed decisions about food choices, food safety, the importance of our own supply of local food and other agricultural products.
